The Featherstone Center for the Arts is excited to announce the upcoming mid-winter writing workshops, designed to help students improve their writing skills and explore their creativity. These workshops will be held on Sunday, March 16, and will provide students with the opportunity to engage with experienced instructors and fellow writers.

A fun and engaging lesson that explores the sounds animals make. 10:30 am — 11:30 am — For grades 4 to 6 THE SCIENCE OF SOUND A hands-on activity that delves into the physics of sound waves and how they travel through the air. 11:30 am — 12:30 pm — For grades 1 to 3 THE ART OF SOUND A creative activity that lets kids explore the different ways sound can be represented through art. 12:30 pm — 1:30 pm — For grades 4 to 6 SOUNDSCAPES A collaborative project that encourages kids to create their own soundscapes using everyday objects and instruments. 1:30 pm — 2:30 pm — For grades 1 to 3 THE SOUND OF MUSIC A fun and interactive music session that lets kids explore the different sounds of music and instruments.
